Shopville is a multi-seller marketplace. Each seller (maker, artisan, or studio) manages their own inventory and ships orders directly to you. This means:
Since each maker ships from their own location, per-seller shipping ensures accurate delivery estimates and fair pricing. You only pay for what each seller actually charges — no inflated flat fees.
Processing and delivery times vary by seller and product type. Here's a general guide:
Your order is confirmed and the seller is notified immediately.
The seller prepares your order. Ready-to-ship items typically process in 1–2 days. Handmade or made-to-order items may take 3–5 days or more — the estimated timeline is shown on each product page.
Once shipped, you'll receive a tracking number via email. Most domestic deliveries arrive within 3–7 business days, depending on your location and the seller's shipping origin.
Your order arrives at your doorstep. If anything isn't right, you can raise a return request within the eligible window.
Delivery fees are set by each seller and are transparently displayed at checkout. Here's how charges are structured:
Each seller sets a flat delivery fee for their orders. This fee covers all items from that seller in your cart — you're never charged twice for ordering multiple items from the same maker.
Many sellers offer free delivery when your order with them exceeds a certain amount. At checkout, you'll see how close you are to qualifying for free delivery from each seller.
Some items — such as fragile, oversized, or specially packaged products — may carry a small additional surcharge. This is clearly indicated on the product page and at checkout, and is charged once per product (not per unit).
Deliveries to certain remote pincodes may incur an additional surcharge. This is automatically calculated based on your delivery address and shown at checkout before you complete your purchase.
Your total delivery charge is the sum of each seller's individual delivery fee. If your cart has items from 3 different sellers, you'll see 3 separate delivery line items — each clearly labelled with the seller name and breakdown.
Once a seller ships your order, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details. You can also track your orders in real time from your Order History page.
For multi-seller orders, each seller provides independent tracking — so you may receive multiple tracking numbers for a single checkout.
