Shop HandbookPayouts
Understand how Shopville calculates shop earnings, holds funds, and prepares payouts so your expectations stay aligned with the actual lifecycle.
What shops pay for
- Marketplace commission, shop-funded discounts, refunds, cancellations, and adjustments can affect the net earning from an order.
- Fee details may vary by selling arrangement, so this page explains the payout lifecycle rather than promising a fixed public rate table.
- RazorpayX payout fees and tax are paid by Shopville and do not reduce the shop payout.
How payout states work
On hold or awaiting window
The order was paid, but delivery, the applicable safety hold, the next Monday, Wednesday or Friday review, or an issue check is still pending.
Ready for next payout
The safety, review-window, minimum, destination, and issue checks passed. A Shopville superadmin must still review and send it.
Transfer processing
The exact earnings and adjustments are reserved while RazorpayX or an approved external transfer reaches a final result.
Transferred and reconciled
Transferred means the money moved. Reconciliation is a separate Shopville comparison and may finish later.
Payout destinations and readiness
- Approved shop account status
- Shopville-reviewed and RazorpayX-registered bank destination
- Optional verified UPI fallback, used only under controlled failure conditions
- No unresolved refund, cancellation, or compliance hold that affects the release amount
How payout windows work
- Delivery starts the eligibility clock; payment alone does not start the payout hold.
- Standard earnings normally use a seven-day hold. Trusted shops assigned to Fast can use two days for lower-value physical orders after Shopville confirms the tracked delivery evidence.
- High-value orders, unverified delivery, recent payout reversals, restrictions, and digital delivery use the standard path. A longer enabled return or exchange window still wins.
- Eligible balances are reviewed on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10:00 AM IST. These are eligibility reviews, not guaranteed bank-credit times.
- Actual transfers are manual. Shopville must review and click Send with Razorpay or record a fully evidenced external transfer.
- Queued, Pending, and Processing are not proof of receipt. Processed is shown as Transferred, followed by separate manual reconciliation.
